Applications are OPEN for our PBW 2020 Influencer Partner program! If you qualify, you will receive a pass to attend Plant Based World in exchange for promoting PBW on your social media channels.  Review the criteria and program description, terms & conditions below, then fill out the application.

Program Description:

We ask you to spread the word about PBW in a minimum of two social media posts prior to the conference.  You will also have the option to faciliate a PBW Community Pass giveaway on your channel. Details of the program will be outlined in the acceptance email.

  • Access to VIP Digital Press Partner area inside Plant Based World


Social Media Influencer Criteria

  • Followers: At least 10,000 on IG, FB and/or Twitter

  • Engagement: 3% or higher

  • Must have created new content within the past three months on topics related to the plant-based products industry or living a plant-based lifestyle (product giveaways and contests do not qualify).

  • Must post at least 2x weekly 

Blogger Criteria

  • Unique website visitors per month: 10,000+

  • Must have created new content within the past three months on topics related to the plant-based products industry or living a plant-based lifestyle (product giveaways and contests do not qualify).

  • At least 5,000 followers on IG, FB and/or Twitter

Bloggers and Social Media Influencers

Must have created new content within the past three months on topics related to the plant-based products industry, living a plant-based lifestyle (product giveaways and contests do not qualify). Blogs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis based on traffic, content relevance and quality, engagement on social media channels, frequency of posts, etc. 

Bloggers will be asked to provide evidence from a data-tracking service (such as Google Analytics or Compete.com) that show unique visitors across blog or social media channels are at minimum 10,000 per month. Please share a link to your blog as part of the badge registration process. All criteria is taken into consideration for approval; unique visitor numbers and the number of followers on social media channels do not guarantee a badge if other criteria have not been met.*

Social media influencers (those who do not have a qualifying blog, but own and manage a social media account of 10,000 or more followers on at least one social network: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis based on content relevance and quality, follower counts, engagement on social media channels, frequency of posts, etc. Please add links below to relevant social media channel(s) and specific posts that exemplify how you consistently support the plant based industry and lifestyle.

All criteria is taken into consideration for approval; post engagement and the number of followers on social media channels do not guarantee a badge if other criteria have not been met.*

Who Does Not Qualify for a Press or Influencer Badge?

  • Friends and family of journalists, bloggers or social media influencers – they should register for an Exhibit Hall Pass.

  • Film crews who are working for an exhibitor or are receiving fees as part of a marketing program.

  • Publishers, sales, marketing and advertising executives, and other non-editorial staff.

  • Producers, editors or film crews for programs in which the exhibitor pays a fee to participate

  • Public relations professionals (agency or company based). If working for an exhibitor, get an Exhibitor badge from your client.

  • Self-published writers or anyone who cannot demonstrate a link to a credible news outlet or proof of readership or viewership.

  • Public relations, advertising or marketing professionals (agency or company based) writing for a news outlet, their company website or personal blog.

  • Industry consultants

  • Support staff for bloggers or social media influencers, including contributors, agents and agency representatives; approved support staff can receive a complimentary Expo Only Pass ($50 value). Support staff will be approved on a case-by-case basis following Influencer Badge approval.

  • Writers for company newsletters and websites.

  • Chefs or cookbook authors who are not working journalists – if applicable and you meet the requirements, register for a Food Service or Health Practitioner badge.

Bloggers and social media influencers must be pre-approved prior to Plant Based World Conference & Expo 2020 and may not register on-site without approval.
 

Terms & Conditions

All PBW attendees must have a badge to access the expo hall and conference sessions.

Show management reserves the right to qualify any and all attendees to its events. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the Event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the Event.

Photo and Video Policy

Video/audio reproduction of any part of this event is prohibited without the express written consent of Plant Based World and JD Events. Filming, videotaping and photography are prohibited at all educational sessions, including keynote presentations. Qualified press who wish to photograph or film at the show is required to check in at the Press Room on-site to receive permission and sign a consent form.

Photographers and videographers are required to obtain permission before filming any exhibitor's booth and must refrain from filming those who do not grant permission. Qualified press who have obtained press passes and are photographing and/or filming at the show may not, under any circumstances, solicit payment from exhibitors for service. Those who are found to be soliciting payment will have their press passes immediately revoked and may be banned from future events. 

Attendee indemnifies and holds harmless Plant Based World Conference & Expo and JD Events their affiliates, with respect to any claims from any third party claims whatsoever arising from Attendee's media activities under this waiver.   No other photography or videography is permitted. We reserve the right to refuse entrance to any photographer/videographer.

Child Policy: Children may attend PBW on Community Day (June 6, 2020) only. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children ages 5 – 15 must purchase a child ticket and are required to have a badge. No strollers are allowed on the show floor at any time. At no time are persons under the age of 18 allowed on the show floor during move-in and move-out – even if supervised. This policy is strictly enforced.

Animals: Animals are not allowed at the Show. The only exception is for service animals, which must be kept under control at all times.

Rolling Carts, Bags & Strollers: For safety reasons, rolling carts, rolling bags and strollers are not permitted on the Show floor during Show floor hours. Exhibitors may roll in small briefcases and small backpacks each day from 8:00 am -10:00 am prior to the Show floor opening. All bags and exhibitor freight are subject to security search

Promotional Material: By allowing exhibitors to scan your badge, you may receive promotional material from exhibitor by direct mail or email.

Speaker Changes: JD Events reserves the right to provide qualified substitute speakers in the event of emergency, illness or other like event.

Hold Harmless Policy

You hereby agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless (and to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, you hereby expressly release and discharge) (i) JD Events and its equity owners and affiliates; (ii) the Show facility and its owners, affiliates, lessors and lessees; and (iii) official exhibit service contractors and security services (all of the foregoing in clauses (i) through (iii), collectively, “Show Providers”), and each of their respective officers, directors, officials, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively, “Representatives”) from and against any and all alleged and/or actual claims, actions, lawsuits, proceedings, damages, penalties, demands, losses, expenses, fees (including reasonable attorney fees), costs or liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever (collectively, “Claims”), including but not limited to any Claim for property damage and/or personal injury, in connection with, caused by or arising out of the attendance at and/or participation in the Show by (A) you, (B) your Representatives (or any other party acting on your behalf), or (C) any of your servants, invitees, patrons or guests (all of the foregoing in clauses (B) and (C),collectively, “Related Parties”), whether as a result of (i) your or any Related Party’s act, omission, negligence or willful misconduct, (ii) your or any Related Party’s violation of any policy of, or breach or alleged breach of any agreement with, JD Events or any other Show Provider, (iii) your or any Related Party’s violation of any applicable law, regulation, rule, or ordinance, (iv) your or any Related Party’s infringement of any third party rights, including without limitation, the infringement of any patented, trademarked, franchised or copyrighted music, materials, devices or dramatic rights used or incorporated in the Show by you or any Related Party, or (v) otherwise, and in each case, whether or not foreseeable. This provision shall survive any termination or expiration of this agreement.
