At GFI, Emma helps catalyze corporate innovation that will radically transform the food system. She leads GFI's retailer engagement, advising on the cutting edge of assortment, merchandising, and marketing of alternative proteins. She has previously worked in strategy, marketing, and communications in the design industry as well as the health education and access sector. Emma also has a background in the TED community, founding and curating regional TEDx events, and is a founding member of Climate Up Close, an outreach group that changes the conversation on climate change by bringing climate scientists to talk to the public face-to-face. She holds a BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Cornell University.
